Safeguarding

Everyone who participates in snooker is entitled to do so in a safe and enjoyable environment.

All our affiliated clubs must follow the EPSB Child Protection and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Policy, the EPSB Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy and the 147 Club – Code of Conduct.

The EPSB is committed to helping everyone in our sport accept their responsibility to safeguard children and vulnerable adults from harm and abuse.

Through our 147 Club affiliation scheme we have put procedures in place to ensure that children and vulnerable adults are protected, and that concerns are reported, listened to and acted upon appropriately.

In addition, the Child Protection in Sport Unit’s resource library  has a range of videos, publications, online toolkits and examples of best practice to help sports clubs safeguard their junior members and vulnerable adults.
