147 Club Affiliation Fee Freeze

Home » 147 Club Affiliation Fee Freeze

The EPSB is today announcing a two-month freeze of its club affiliation fees.

Earlier this year, among a range of mechanisms to support our strong network of clubs, we applied a six-month free extension on existing affiliations.

In an effort to support affiliated clubs in this way again as we enter a new four-week national lockdown, we are applying a further two-month extension.

Any unaffiliated clubs that wish to join the 147 Club scheme before 31 December 2020 will also get an additional two months on their 12-month subscription.

Our member clubs have put in an incredible effort to implement Covid-19 secure protocols, seek guidance on appropriate measures, support and consult with other clubs in our network and ultimately continue to provide a safe and enjoyable playing environment for players.

We must now strive to overcome this latest challenge so that we can return to the high participation levels observed across many of our clubs in recent months.

The EPSB will continue to consult with the independent All-Party Parliamentary Group for Snooker to seek clarification on the latest guidelines, and to lobby for snooker and billiards activity to continue as soon as this is practicable.
