The EPSB is committed to increasing participation in snooker among women and girls, with the English Women’s Snooker Championship hosted annually each season.
As well as being a prestigious national title in its own right, the competition also plays a key role in determining selection for international women’s competitions including the Home Internationals and European Championships.
It is a key policy of the EPSB that none of our events are restricted to ‘men only’. We firmly believe that snooker is a sport for all, and that men and women can compete equally on the same field of play.
Together with our partners at World Women’s Snooker, we actively encourage women and girls to compete in our mixed gender open tournaments.
The EPSB has also adopted the WPBSA Trans and Gender Diverse Policy.
