English Regional Junior Billiards Tour

The English Regional Junior Billiards Tour provides opportunities for young people to engage with English Billiards. There are north and south regions to the tour.

2023/24

North Region – events held at Maltings Q Club, Kings Lynn

  • Event 1: Saturday 11th November 2023, 14:30 start
  • Event 2: Saturday 13th January 2024, 14:30 start

South Region – events held at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club, Eastleigh

  • Event 1: Sunday 19th November 2023, 10:30 start
  • Event 2: Sunday 14th January 2024, 10:30 start

For all events, please register with the tournament director at the venue at least 15 minutes before the start time.

Tournament Information

The Tour is open to all EPSB members under the age of 21 on the 31st December 2023.

Entries for each event close two Fridays before the event at 12:00 noon.

Players may only enter events in one region.

Each event will feature an initial round robin phase with an amount of players qualifying for the subsequent knockout rounds. The composition of groups and knockout rounds will be dependent on the number of overall entries at each event.

The draw for each event will be performed on the day.

Players will earn ranking points at each event which will goes towards a combined national ranking list.

Dress Code

The Tour will be an EPSB Level 2 Dress Code which will consist of a minimum:

  • Formal shoes (no trainers/sneakers etc.)
  • Formal trousers (no jeans/cargos etc.)
  • Smart and appropriate collared shirt or polo shirt (can be either long or short sleeved

Entry Fees and Prize Money

Entry per event is £10 per player

The prize money breakdown per event is as follows:

  • Winner: £40
  • Runner-Up: £20
  • Semi-Finalists: £10 each
  • Highest Break: £5

International Selection

The top four placed players from the combined national ranking list following the second and final events of the season will qualify to play for England at the 2024 Home International Billiards Championship.
