The English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) representatives have been confirmed for the upcoming European Championships in Gandia, Spain.
Organised by the European Billiards & Snooker Association (EBSA), the Championships will be held at Palace Hotel in Gandia, Spain from 1-17 March 2026 and the winners of the mixed gender and under-21 events will be nominated for a two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) tour card.
England will be represented by six players in the Main and Under-21 competitions, and by five players in the Under-18 and Under-16 events.

Zachary Richardson became the first English player to secure his place in the 2026 European Championships as he defeated Antony Parsons 6-2 in the final of the 104th edition of the English Amateur Championship at the Landywood Snooker Club in March 2025.
He is joined by the top four ranked players on the 2025/26 English Amateur Tour, which concluded in January.

Ashley Carty topped the ranking list after winning two of the five events staged, while Peter Lines, Matthew Glasby and Ashley Hugill each picked up a title to secure their places in the top four and qualification for the European Championships.
Finally, Craig Steadman has received a wildcard from the EBSA as a result of his success in the autumn European Championships where he won the individual Seniors, Six-Red and Shoot Out titles.

Six English players will represent their country in the European Under-21 Championships in March.
English Under-21 champion Liam Pullen does not qualify due to now being a World Snooker Tour (WST) professional, while English Junior Tour rankings leader Vladislav Gradinari is ineligible for nomination by EPSB.

Therefore, five places have been earned by those eligible players ranked highest in the 2025/26 English Junior Tour ranking list. This includes event winners Oliver Sykes, Kaylan Patel and Edward Jones – as well as Dylan Smith and Daniel Boyes, who finished in second and fifth positions respectively.
Ethan Llewellyn has also received a wildcard from the EBSA after losing out in last year’s European Under-18 Championship final to current Polish professional Michał Szubarczyk.

The top five eligible players in the 2025/26 English Junior Tour ranking list will represent England in the Under-18 competition in Spain.
Once again, Vladislav Gradinari – who won the English Under-18 Championship title and finished top of the English Junior Tour, is ineligible for nomination by EPSB.

Four of those competing in the European Under-21 Championship will also take part in the Under-18 event. This includes Junior Tour event winners Kaylan Patel and Edward Jones, as well as Dylan Smith and Daniel Boyes.
Reigning English Under-14 champion Adam Abbas completes the English line-up.

The top five eligible players in the 2025/26 English Junior Tour ranking list will represent England in the European Under-16s Championship.
Reigning English Under-16 champion Shaun Liu is ineligible for nomination, meaning the five spots go to the highest ranked players within the age group.

Among them is current English Under-14 champion Adam Abbas, who will compete in both the Under-16s and Under-18s in Spain, as well as former Under-14 winner Nicholas Ayers.
The line-up is completed by the trio of William Thomson, William Hurley and Jackson Pope.
The 2026 EBSA European Championships will be held at Palace Hotel in Gandia, Spain on 1-17 March 2026
