The English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) representatives have been confirmed for the upcoming European Championships in Golem, Albania.
Organised by the European Billiards & Snooker Association (EBSA), the championships will be held at the Grand Blue Fafa Resort in Golem, Albania from 4-19 October 2025 with players competing across Seniors (Individual & Team), Women’s (Individual & Team), Shootout and Six-Red competitions.
Craig Steadman heads to Albania next month looking to defend both the EBSA European Seniors individual and team titles that he won in Albufeira, Portugal last October.
Steadman defeated fellow countryman Wayne Brown in the deciding frame of last year’s final and Brown will also return to the event with the aim of going one better at the Grand Blue Fafa Resort.
Steadman and Lee Stephens took home the European Seniors team crown from Albufeira and they will once again team up for a title defence in Albania.
English Seniors champion Mark Joyce will also contest both events, teaming up with Brown, as will Stuart Watson and Ali Anwar who complete the England line-up for the seniors competitions.
Former World Snooker Tour professional Rebecca Kenna stormed to both the Women’s individual and team titles 12 months ago and she returns to Golem, Albania for a double-title defence.
Kenna defeated Latvia’s Anna Prysazhnuka 4-1 in the individual final last year before winning the team event alongside reigning World Women’s Snooker Seniors champion Tessa Davidson.
This year, Kenna will team up with 14-year-old Ellise Scott who finished runner-up at this year’s English Women’s Championship and is ranked first in the World Women’s Snooker Under-21 ranking list.
Craig Steadman is the only player to represent England across four events as he takes part in the Shootout and Six-Red events in Albania.
Last year, Steadman reached the final of the Shootout event before being denied a hat-trick of titles by Ukraine’s Iulian Boiko. Meanwhile, in the Six-Red competition, Stuart Watson returns after reaching the title match 12 months ago and losing out to Florian Nuessle.
Reigning English Amateur champion Zachary Richardson will also represent his country in the Shootout, joining former professional Mark Joyce, while Halim Hussain completes the England line-up in the Six-Red event.
