English Over-55 Championship 2026 | Tournament Information

The 2026 English Over-55 Championship takes place this weekend (9-10 May) at the Maxi Lounge in Bristol.

A total of 32 players will contest the two-day event, including defending champion John Hunter and fellow former winners Nick Pearce, John Welsh and John Rees.

The event will be held at the Maxi Lounge in Bristol. The full address for the venue can be found below:

FORMAT

The competition will consist of group stages on the Saturday, followed by knockout stages on the Sunday.

• Group Stages: Best-of-3 Frames
• Knockout Stages: Best-of-5-Frames

The draw and schedule will be released on the day and, once available, can be found on WPSBA SnookerScores website. There is a link at the top of the article to where these will be located. Please make sure you have checked in with the Tournament Director by 9:15 on Saturday to be included in the draw.

Dress Code

• Up to and including the semi-finals: Level 3 
• Final: Level 4
