English players lifted four titles at the recent EBSA European Snooker Championships which were staged at the Grand Blue Fafa Resort in Golem, Albania on 4-19 October 2025.
The annual championships were organised by the European Billiards & Snooker Association and featured Seniors and Women’s individual and teams events as well as Men’s teams, Shoot Out and Six-Red competitions.
England’s Craig Steadman was the most successful player at the competition as he completed a memorable European hat-trick by winning the individual Seniors, Six-Red and Shoot Out events in Albania. A quartet of titles was completed by Rebecca Kenna and Ellise Scott, who brought home the Women’s teams trophy.

Craig Steadman was in dominant form in Albania as he won the European Seniors Championship, European Shoot Out Championship and European Six-Red Championship titles.
The 43-year-old made a dream start by successfully defending the individual Seniors crown that he had won last year in Portugal to secure a return to the Crucible Theatre next May for the World Seniors Snooker Championship.
A field of 78 players contested the event and Steadman set up and all-English title match against Mark Joyce with a 4-2 semi-final victory over Wales’ Philip Williams.
Joyce had beaten former world number eight Darren Morgan in the semi-finals and showed excellent scoring form in the final as he made breaks of 110 and 117.
It was Steadman, however, who took home the title after taking the opener with a break of 83 and then never falling behind as he went on to earn a 5-3 win.

The Shoot Out saw Steadman lift a second trophy in dramatic fashion.
Steadman reached the final by overcoming Latvia’s Rodion Judin and there he faced Nicolas Mortreux from France. Mortreux looked set for victory in the ten minute title match until the closing seconds, but Steadman was able to force a blue ball shoot out to decide the victor and it was the Englishman who held his nerve.
The European hat-trick was completed with glory in the Six-Red competition.
A 4-2 win over Malta’s Aaron Busuttil earned Steadman a place in a third final of the fortnight and this time it was Poland’s Tomasz Skalski who stood between the 43-year-old and another title.
Despite taking the opener, Steadman quickly fell 3-1 behind in the best-of-seven frame contest. The 43-year-old showed his battling qualities to hit back and restore parity before completing a run a four frames in a row to complete a 5-3 victory.

Rebecca Kenna and Ellise Scott defeated France’s Deu Va and Rachell Enfroy 3-2 to win the European Women’s Team Championship.
Kenna won the competition in Portugal 12 months ago with Tessa Davidson and she successfully defended the crown alongside 14-year-old Scott.
The 36-year-old former World Snooker Tour (WST) player had fallen at the final hurdle of the Women’s individual event, losing out Latvia’s Anna Prysazhnuka, but quickly bounced back to help her team reach the title match by whitewashing the Latvian duo of Prysazhnuka and Tatjana Vasiljeva.
A break of 41 in the opener wasn’t enough for the English team and France twice moved ahead in the final to get within one frame of victory at 2-1.
Kenna and Scott were able to pull it back, however, to force a decider before getting over the line in the fifth to win the European title.
