The English Under-21 Championship takes place at the The Winchester Club in Leicester this weekend (27-28 April).

Ryan Davies holds the English Under-21 Snooker Championship trophy.

A strong field of 34 cueists head to Leicestershire aiming to follow in the footsteps of reigning champion Ryan Davies, who defeated Lewis Ullah in last year’s final to win the title.

Among those in the line-up are Daniel Boyes and Vladislav Gradinari, who have recently won the English Under-18 and Under-16 titles respectively, as well as O’Shay Scott – who finished as runner-up in both events.

Former English Amateur champion Paul Deaville will also arrive as one of the favourites, as will English Junior Tour winner Oliver Sykes – who won four out of the five tour events during this campaign.
