Home » EPSB Junior Championships 2024 | Date and Venues Update

The English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) has today announced date and/or venue changes for three of its prestigious national junior championships to be held later this season.

The tournaments each offer the chance for aspiring youngsters to become a national champion at recognised age groups and in doing so, earn their places at established international tournaments during the following 12 months.

Under-16 Championship

To be restored to the calendar following a year away, it can now be confirmed that the 2024 English Under-16 Championship will be held at QBar Walsall Wood for the first time.

Home to a number of vibrant junior activities, the venue houses 14 full-size snooker tables, inlcuding two Xing Pai tables and will welcome the tournament from 20-21 April 2024.

Under-18 Championship

There is a change of venue for the 2024 English Under-18 Championship which will now be staged at Barratts, Northampton from 13-14 April 2024.

Home to former world number four and five-time ranking event winner Kyren Wilson, Barratts is one of the biggest snooker clubs in the country and an ideal host for the competition.

Under-21 Championship

There is a change of both date and venue for this season’s English Under-21 Championship, which has been moved due to a clash of dates with the World Snooker Federation Junior Championship next January.

The tournament will therefore now run across the weekend of 27-28 April 2024 at The Winchester Snooker Club, a change from the originally announced venue.

Entry for all three tournaments is open via WPBSA SnookerScores and any entries already received will still be valid, unless players contact us to request a refund.
