Format

Following the completion of the 2023/24 EPSB Open Series regular events on Sunday 31 March, the number one ranked player will automatically win a free 2024 Q School place.

The next 16 ranked players will all be invited to the EPSB Open Series play-offs on Saturday 6 April. These players will be contacted via email, who will in turn need to confirm their attendance.

Should a player not be eligible* for the play-offs, or be unable to attend/decline the invite, the next eligible player in line on the ranking list will be invited.

*Please note, if a player has a guaranteed WST Professional Tour Card for the 2024/25 season, they will not be eligible for the play-offs.

Once the line-up has been confirmed, the players will be seeded as per their ranking positions, and the draw will be fixed with 1 v 16 at the top and 2 v 15 at the bottom of the draw etc.

Should a player withdraw after the draw has been published, if there is suitable time, the next eligible player in line will be invited and replace the player who has withdrawn.

The play-offs will be completed on one day, with all matches the best of five frames. The winner will secure a free 2024 Q School place.

Further details will be sent to the qualified players via email.

As It Stands

The regular EPSB Open Series season will finish on 31st March and there are still three events to be played at the time of writing.

  • Sunday 24 March: London Snooker, East Acton (10am)
  • Saturday 30 March: Woking Snooker Centre (10am)
  • Sunday 31 March: Landywood Snooker Club (10.30am)

Former professional Peter Devlin, winner of multiple EPSB Open Series during this campaign, currently sits top of the rankings and is in pole position to secure the automatic free entry for the 2024 Q School.

Jack Bradford sits in second place and is therefore on course to be the top seed at the play-offs while Aidan Gallagher, who became the first player in the series’ history to fire in a maximum break at an event in Leicester last month, is another notable name currently sat inside the play-off positions.
