EPSB Quartet Earn Snooker Shoot Out Nominations

Home » EPSB Quartet Earn Snooker Shoot Out Nominations

Vladislav Gradinari, Kaylan Patel, Ethan Llewellyn and Ellise Scott are each among the WPBSA nominations for the Snooker Shoot Out which will take place at the Tower Circus in Blackpool on 10-13 December.

The EPSB quartet will compete alongside the biggest names in the sport in the unique World Snooker Tour (WST) ranking event which will once again feature a unique set of rules, with all matches played over a maximum of ten minutes, and a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and ten seconds for the last five.

Gradinari, who won the most recent English Junior Tour event last month, has earned a nomination as a direct result of his victory in EPSB competition after defeating Shaun Liu 5-4 in the final of the 2025 English Under-18 Championship.

He is joined by Patel, Llewellyn and Scott who have each secured a place at the Shoot Out courtesy of their success on the international stage.

Patel, aged 17, has been nominated after coming within one win of a place among the professional ranks at the 2025 World Snooker Federation (WSF) Junior Championship – losing out to Ireland’s Leone Crowley in the title match in Morocco at the start of the year.

There was a memorable run to the final of the European Billiards & Snooker Association (EBSA) European Under-18 Championship for Llewellyn back in March to earn an invite to the Shoot Out, while 14-year-old former English Women’s Championship runner-up Scott has qualified as the top ranked player on the World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour’s Under-21 rankings at the time of the nominations.

Tickets for the four-day tournament are on sale now and offer the chance to see a wide range of top players and experience the unique atmosphere which only this event can offer. For details click here.
