Rebecca Kenna won a record-extending fourth English Women’s Championship title by defeating Tessa Davidson 4-1 at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.
Victory in Leeds saw the 37-year-old win the national championship for a third consecutive year and fourth in total – having first won the event in 2022.

Kenna topped a group of six cueists, which featured reigning World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Seniors champion Davidson and English Women’s Championship debutants Tallulah Cousins and Kellie Barker, on the opening day without the loss of a frame.
The former World Snooker Tour (WST) professional continued this dominant run into the concluding day of action as she earned 3-0 successes against Lesley Roberts and Zoe Killington – firing in the tournament high break of 74 in the semi-final contest.

In a repeat of the 2024 final, Kenna met Davidson after the 56-year-old defeated Laura Killington and Daisy May Oliver, each by a 3-0 scoreline, to reach the title match.
Kenna raced into a 3-0 lead to move one away from victory and, despite Davidson taking the next to deny her opponent a clean sweep across the weekend, it was the cueist from Yorkshire who secured the crown with a break of 49 in frame five.
