Jack Wilding and Adam Abbas will meet in the 2026 PowerGlide English Under-14 Championship final after successfully coming through the Stage Two regional qualifiers last weekend.
Abbas, aged 13, has reached the final for a second consecutive year and will be looking to become only the third player in history to successfully defend the crown – following Hamim Hussain (2014 and 2015) and Stan Moody (2019 and 2020).
He will face title match debutant Wilding, who fired in a top break of 80 en route to winning through the Stage Two event at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds on Sunday.
The two will meet in the final on Sunday 19 April at the Landywood Snooker Centre in Walsall.

Jack Wilding defeated Faiz Majid 2-1 to win the Stage Two (North) qualifier at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds and reach the final of the PowerGlide English Under-14 Championship for the first time.
Sixteen players contested event in West Yorkshire and Wilding topped his group in impressive style as he registered successive whitewash wins over Ruudy Barraclough, Ethan Ross and Kieran Edmunds.
The 14-year-old, who came through the Stage One event at the Elite Snooker Club in Preston, then overcame Jack Sutton and Muhammad-Hasnain Arshad – still without dropping a single frame.
Wilding took the first frame of the final to make it 11 without reply before his opponent, Majid, forced a decider by taking a tight second frame on the colours.
It was Wilding who held his nerve, however, to take the all-important third frame and secure his place at the Landywood Snooker Club in April.

Adam Abbas successfully continued the defence of his PowerGlide English Under-14 Championship title by beating Tyler Beer 2-0 in the final of the Stage Two (South) qualifier at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club in Eastleigh.
The defending champion had won through the Stage One event at the Maxi Lounge in Bristol and topped his group with the loss of just a single frame by downing Oliver Li (2-1), Jacob Seyfarth-Withey (2-0) and fellow eventual finalist Beer (2-0).
Abbas hit the highest break in the entirety of Stage Two, a contribution of 85, in his semi-final meeting with Emilio Bassili as he ran out a comfortable 2-0 victor to set up a rematch with Beer.
Beer had come through a deciding frame against William Thomson to reach this stage but, despite competing in two close frames, he was unable to deny Abbas once more as the 13-year-old earned a 2-0 victory to reach the final for a second successive year.
