Jack Wilding beat Adam Abbas 3-0 to win the second English Under-16s Tour title at the Elite Snooker Club in Preston.
Wilding, who lost to Abbas in the final of the English Under-14 Championship earlier this year, gained revenge on the event one winner by defeating him in the title match on Sunday.
The English Under-16 Tour has been newly introduced for the 2026/27 season and features three events for cueists aged 16 and under – with 38 players competing at the second tournament.
Group stage wins over Kai Hopkins and Faiz Majid were enough to earn Wilding a place in the knockout stages where he then gained three consecutive whitewash victories against Ruudy Barraclough, Emilio Bassili and Johnny Blaise Collier to reach the semi-finals.
Despite losing the opener to Jackson Pope on the black, Wilding took the next two frames to move ahead before firing in a break of 66 to secure his place in the final.
There he faced Abbas, who had continued his perfect run in the English Under-16s Tour by last defeating Oliver Li with breaks of 51, 34 and 73.
Wilding had found scoring form of his own at the perfect time however and kicked off the title match with the tournament high break of 80 – adding further contributions of 33, 33 and 36 to complete the 3-0 victory.

Event three of the English Under-16s Tour takes place at Unit 27 in Weston-Super-Mare on 9-10 January 2027. Enter now via WPBSA SnookerScores.
