Ashley Carty defeated Lewis Ullah 4-1 at the Landywood Snooker Club to win the fifth English Amateur Tour event.
Victory saw the 30-year-old become the first cueist to win two events on the English Amateur Tour this season and he concluded the campaign at the top of the ranking list as a result.
Sixty players embarked on the Staffordshire venue and Carty impressed on the opening day as he completed consecutive whitewash wins against Hayden Staniland and Harry Flower to reach the last 16.

Recent EPSB Open Series event winner Faizaan Mohammed proved to be much tougher opposition for Carty as he raced into a 3-1 lead.
The former World Snooker Tour (WST) professional showed his quality, however, to take it all the way with breaks of 57 and 58 before winning the decider by just three points.
A more comfortable passage to the title match followed as Carty hit a top break of 100 as he beat both Sean Maddocks and Oliver Sykes by a 4-1 scoreline to set up a title match meeting with Ullah.
Ullah, aged 23, had reached his maiden English Amateur Tour final by last defeating Simon Blackwell 4-2 in the last four after earlier earning a notable whitewash win against Craig Steadman.

Carty looked the stronger man in the final, however, as he chased down his second title of the campaign with contributions of 75 and 51 to move 3-0 ahead.
His opponent briefly rallied, scoring a 67 break to reduce the deficit, but Carty hit straight back with 97 to secure the title and confirm his position at the top of the 2025/26 English Amateur Tour ranking list.
