We are today excited to announce our provisional calendar of English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) events and expanded competition structure for the 2026/27 season.

During the 2025/26 season we saw continued growth for English Snooker with total prize money paid and total active memberships both having surged to record high numbers.
It was also another hugely successful campaign for English players on the table with multiple victories at events including the European Championships, and Home Internationals. We congratulate the 12 English players who have begun a new two-year professional tour card this season.
We are committed to supporting elite talent with a vibrant and growing national competition structure, whilst also helping to underpin the grassroots development of our sport.
Notably, we were delighted to oversee the successful staging of the English Disability Snooker Championship for the first time last August, while there was also a successful restructure of the English League Snooker Championship.

We aim to build upon our now established competition structure with the addition of the following new events during the 2026/27 season:
We are also exploring the possibility to introduce additional English Billiards and Disability competitions during the season.
With the continued success of the English Junior Tour (Under-21), which has once again seen significantly increased entries year on year, we are excited to announce the creation of a new English Under-16 Tour which will provide further opportunities for junior players to compete with their peers during the season. A new ranking list will be used to determine selections for next year’s European Under-16 Championship.
The English Women’s Tour also returns with a new format which will see two one-day tournaments held across three weekends, providing additional competitive opportunities for women and girls looking to take their first steps into the sport.
There is also set to be an all-new event added to the calendar next year in the form of the English Amateur Open, to be held in support of our recently announced first-ever official charity partner, The Brain Tumour Charity, selected in memory of EPSB international Graham Beardmore, who sadly passed away last year.
An open event which takes inspiration from the popular Pink Ribbon event, the English Amateur Open will see a significant prize fund contested, with additional proceeds to be raised for a fantastic cause – which you can already support now with donations gratefully received through our official JustGiving page.

Alongside our responsibility for the official tournament structure, we are equally committed to the grassroots development of the sport through our range of specific projects and activities.
These include the continuation of the EPSB Elite Junior Performance Programme, in support of our potential stars of the future, as well as targeted open days aimed at engaging more new players with our sport, following the successful pilot of a Women’s Open Day last year.
We would also take this opportunity to advise our members to updates to our membership rates for the 2026/27 season.
We are mindful of the costs that players face to be able to compete across the season and it is for this reason that membership and entry fees have remained frozen for the past four seasons, combined with significant prize money increases.
This concern must be balanced against our ambitions to grow and provide further opportunities not only to players, but also referees, clubs and other stakeholders within our sport. Both membership income and tournament entry fees are a key element of our income which enables us to stage competitions during the season.
Having taken all factors into consideration, we can confirm that membership this season will be available as follows:
The Junior (18 & Under) membership will be open to players aged 18 & Under as of 31 August 2027 and replaces the previous Under-14 membership with the aim of providing all junior players with a discounted membership for the first time.
The introduction of membership fees for Women’s, Disability and Billiards players has the clear aim to generate additional income for those respective tournaments, allowing us to boost our event portfolio in these areas.
We can further confirm that tournament entry fees will remain frozen for the 2026/27 season.
As always, we remain grateful for your continued support and look forward to what promises to be another exciting season of snooker and its development in England.
