League and Third Sector Support

Home » League and Third Sector Support

Across the country there are an estimated 250 leagues and third sector organisations providing snooker and billiards activities.

These bodies are invariably run by volunteers who dedicate a lot of their time and energy for the cause.

We recognise that these providers need support to sustain their activities- both to encourage a new generation of players to take up our sport and to offer guidance around structure, policies and safe practices.

From this month, English snooker and billiards leagues, and third sector organisations, can affiliate to the EPSB to access some free support and guidance.

To be eligible, providers must commit to:

  • Offering activities to all, including players under 18 years of age
  • Nominating a Welfare Officer
  • Providing membership and participation details
  • Adopting EPSB policies for best practice

Affiliated bodies will receive regular guidance documents to support the development of their activities.

Applicants will need to complete a short form, which is available by request by email to info@epsb.co.uk or by telephone on 0117 317 8203.
