EPSB Return to Play – Junior Club Restart Guidance

Home » EPSB Return to Play – Junior Club Restart Guidance

Following recent guidance published by the UK Government, the EPSB has developed some guidelines to support the return to play of summer junior snooker and billiards activities from 25 July.

Affiliated snooker clubs in England that wish to run junior summer holiday sessions can proceed, provided the club can offer a COVID-19 secure environment and the sessions are led by a WPBSA Snooker Coach.

Coached sessions for children (up to age 18) are now possible for group sizes of no more than 15, plus coach(es), in accordance with the Department for Education’s guidance for providers of out-of-school settings.

These guidelines apply to England only, and have been produced to help clubs, coaches and players operate in line with the UK Government guidance.

This latest document adds to our Covid-19 guidelines for clubs.

We intend to release further guidance next week focused on a format and timescale for the return to local league competition.
