The English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards is excited to announce that there will be a special prize on offer throughout the 2019/2020 season should a 147 maximum break be made in one of its tournaments.
A total cash pot of £1,470 is available to all players in all EPSB events for the initiative. If multiple 147s are constructed during the season, the prize will be equally shared between those who have achieved perfection.
If a player compiles more than one 147, each effort will count towards an individual share of the overall pot. For example, if there are three 147s in the season – and a player has made two of them – that particular player will claim two thirds of the prize.
Prize money will be awarded after the season has ended.
At last weekend’s English Amateur Tour Event One we saw three breaks of over 130 made, with a top run of 141.
